Melodia Women's Choir of NYC, led by Artistic Director Cynthia Powell and in collaboration with Director Christa Scott-Reed, brings to life the music and the untold story behind Antonio Vivaldi's Gloria this spring in Gloria: Lifting the Veil on Vivaldi's Masterpiece. Audiences will have the chance to hear the voices of three 18th-century Venetian characters inspired by the real women and girls of the Ospedale della Pietà music conservatory and hear Vivaldi's work performed by an all-female choir and chamber ensemble as it was likely originally composed for the figlie di coro female musicians of the Ospedale della Pietà in 1715.

Fellowship for Performing Arts announced today an extension for the revival of Robert Bolt's Tony Award-winning play, A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS, a Machiavellian political-religious drama ripped from today's headlines. A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS began previews on January 11, 2019, at The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036) and officially opened on January 23. Originally set to close on February 24, the play will now run through March 3, 2019.

Lautenberg, in association with NewYorkRep, announced today that Church & State, the critically acclaimed play by Jason Odell Williams, a 'BEST PLAY' nominee from the Off Broadway Alliance, will play its final performance Sunday, June 4 at 7:30 p.m. Directed by Markus Potter (Stalking the Bogeyman), Church & State is currently running at New World Stages (340 W. 50th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues).  At the time of closing, Church & State will have played 29 previews and 81 regular performances.
