Portland Stage's latest production is an engaging staging of Brenda Withers' new play, String Around My Finger, which had won the 2015 Clauder Competition and then been developed through the theatre's Little Festival of the Unexpected. The four-character play, set entirely in a hospital where a young couple finds themselves coping with the miscarriage of their child, resonates with a genuineness of dialogue, character and situation.

Orbiter 3, the acclaimed theatre company helmed by some of Philadelphia's most renowned playwrights, will produce their fifth world premiere this May. From the playwright who brought you Marcus / Emma at InterAct and Hello! Sadness! at FringeArts, comes her most ambitious play yet: Mary Tuomanen's Peaceable Kingdom.

Today ArtsBridge announced the nominees for the 9th Annual Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards - in a live streaming broadcast on GPB.org. 35 public and private schools from throughout the state were nominated in 17 categories. The awards show is the culmination of a year-long professional development program, and will showcase the next generation of Georgia's musical theatre talent. Presented by the Georgia Lottery, the awards show will air on Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) over its nine-station statewide television network live from Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on April 20, 2017 from 7-9 pm.

The Bryn Mawr College Performing Arts Series presents two different lineups of innovative theater makers, choreographers and musicians for the second installment of its WINTRY MIX/PERFORMANCE FESTIVAL, a curated sampler of new works of performing arts. Wilkinson.

Premier amateur theatre company Sedos has created stage comedy Frenemies specifically for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2016. Frenemies is a cohesive hour long show made up of six short plays all based on the theme of "frenemies" - people who act like friends but who actually want to see the other fail, or worse.

Seattle attorney Christopher M. Davis has spent more than 20 years working to help all sorts of accident victims better understand their legal rights through the Washington Accident Books, a series of free legal guides designed to educate people about personal injury law. Now, Mr. Davis is adding yet another book to the lineup that aims to demystify the personal injury legal process for motorcyclists.

Sedos, the City of London's premier amateur theatre company, deal with a highly sensitive legal and moral debate in their summer production of Whose Life Is It Anyway? at the company's resident home, the Bridewell Theatre, on 21-25 June.
