Cartoon Network Announces Winners of 2014 HALL OF GAME Awards

Cartoon Network scored big Saturday night at the fourth annual Hall of Game Awards. After over 100 million on-line votes were counted the famous GAME trophies were bestowed to the best in sports. The exciting evening included high energy musical performances by Jason Derulo ('Other Side' and 'Talk Dirty') and Fall Out Boy ('My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)'), a heartwarming acceptance speech from Olympic Gold Medalist Lindsey Vonn and a show stopping moment when three-year-old YouTube star Titus Ashby scored yet again another winning basket!
Jean Giraudoux's ONDINE Set for The Idiopathic Ridiculopathy Consortium, 2/7-3/2

The rarely-performed classic Ondine, considered to be French playwright Jean Giraudoux's finest work, will preview at the Walnut Street Theatre Studio 5 Wednesday, February 5 and Thursday February 6, and will open Friday, February 7 running through March 2, 2014. Curtain for all shows is 7:30 pm for Tuesday through Saturday shows and 2:30pm for Sunday matinees.

InterAct Theatre Company and the New York based company, The One-Minute Play Festival (OMPF) today announce their joint presentation of the First Philadelphia One-Minute Play Festival, to be performed tonight, July 29th-31st 2013 at 8:00 PM EST. Following sold-out performances in a dozen other cities, this festival serves as the culmination of a yearlong collaboration between the two companies after engaging in community and consensus building workshop sessions with local artists since August of 2012.

4th Annual SoLow Festival Set for June 20-30

With works that celebrate the solstice to performances inside a Chinese Restaurant, the 4th annual SoLow Festival is experimenting with the theme of "Loners and Rebels." SoLow Festival is an inexpensive artistic event dedicated to presenting new and experimental work in a collective manner. With over twenty performing artists June 20th to 30th, SoLow focuses on the artistic creation and growth of solo artists conceiving new work with low or no-cost risk. The productions will be presented at a variety of non-traditional venues throughout the city (and one in Cincinnati, OH). Audiences and artists are invited to experience the original, unique, and experimental of SoLow Festival with affordable Pay What You Can performances.

Casting is set for the upcoming one-night-only world premiere performance of selections and music from Shaving, a new musical by writer/performer Alex Davis, at Joe's Pub on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 7pm. Based on his one-man-show, Alex Davis: Man of the Year, seen a year ago at the famed Knitting Factory Brooklyn, Shaving is a powerful rock musical memoir about love and self-transformation with music & lyrics by Alex Davis and a book by Alex Davis & Miranda Russo. Directed by Joseph Hendel and featuring a live band under the musical direction of Kris Kukul, Shaving features a cast of 7.
