Celebrating the legacy of vocal harmony in popular music, the Great American Songbook Foundation has selected three acclaimed vocal groups as its 2022 Songbook Hall of Fame inductees. The Lennon Sisters, The Manhattan Transfer and Straight No Chaser will be honored throughout the coming year.

Don't miss the final world tour for The Manhattan Transfer, the most award-winning jazz vocal group in the history of recorded music. Since their first Grammy wins in 1981, this legendary vocal quartet has racked up numerous awards including 10 Grammy Awards out of 20 nominations. They were the first group ever to win Grammys in both Pop and Jazz categories in the same year, and the dozen Grammy nominations they received for their Vocalese album were second to Michael Jackson's Thriller as the most nominated album in one year.

The show is made possible through the generosity of Harold Matzner. The Manhattan Transfer has become a cornerstone of contemporary music. Originally launched by Tim Hauser in 1969, the group consisted of Hauser, Alan Paul, Janis Siegel and Laurel Masse in 1972. Cheryl Bentyne joined the group in 1979 after Laurel Masse left following a car accidenta?"and that lineup would perform together for some 35 years.
