BWW Review: BLUE/ORANGE at Fenix Theatre Collaborative

Fenix Theatre Collaborative makes its theatrical debut with BLUE/ORANGE at the Tenth Avenue Arts Center. The intense dramatic comedy may have been written in 2000, but this compelling production shows just how relevant the issues it tackles still are today. BLUE/ORANGE is playing through Saturday, April 16th.

Scripps Ranch Theatre Announces Season 2022 And Reopening Celebration

​​​​​​​Scripps Ranch Theatre, located on the campus of Alliant Int'l University in Scripps Ranch announced the reopening of their theatre. They will kick off with a Welcome Back Celebration! on December 4th at 7:30pm featuring musical and theatrical performances by some of their community's favorite performers - and have announced their 2022 Season which will start in January, 2022. 

BWW Review: MY BROOKLYN HAMLET now streaming through Scripps Ranch Theatre and Oceanside Theatre Company

It may be said that 'Art imitates life' but one never hopes that their life imitates art, especially something akin to a Shakespearian tragedy. Yet, Brenda Adelman presents her one-woman show MY BROOKLYN HAMLET, which follows the way her life parallels HAMLET and shaped her childhood and life as an artist. Scripps Ranch Theatre and Oceanside Theatre Company are co-producing this streaming show, available through May 2nd. 

New Village Arts Announces 3rd Annual FINAL DRAFT New Play Festival

New Village Arts announces its third annual New Play Festival, FINAL DRAFT, scheduled for January 10 - 12, 2020. This year's festival will feature plays by local playwrights Morgan Trant Kinally, Tom Steward, Roy Sekigahama, and Cynthia Ochoa. Selections were decided from an open submission pool of over 250 new plays and musicals and a five-person readership panel.

Scripps Ranch Theatre, located on the campus of Alliant International University, presents the 8th annual Out on a Limb. This play festival is comprised of six 10-minute new plays by coast-to-coast playwrights - featuring some of San Diego's top talent.

Scripps Ranch Theatre Kicks Off Their 40th Season With COMMUNICATING DOORS

Scripps Ranch Theatre, located on the campus of Alliant Int'l University in Scripps Ranch kicks off their 40th Season - Season 2018/2019 with Communicating Doors, by by Alan Ayckbourn, directed by Jacquelyn Ritz. The production runs on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm from September 7 - October 7.

WRITE OUT LOUD, an organization founded in 2007 with a commitment to inspire, challenge and entertain by reading literature aloud for a live audience  - announces the 9th Annual TwainFest to take place on Saturday, August 18th from 11am - 4:30pm in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, San Diego. TwainFest is produced by Write Out Loud and sponsored by Fiesta de Reyes in association with Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.

Madcap Comedy-Adventure Has Them Roaring With Laughter At Scripps Ranch Theatre!

Scripps Ranch Theatre, located on the campus of Alliant Int'l University in Scripps Ranch opened their hysterical production of Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, the Tony Awarding winning play by Ken Ludwig. The production continues on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm through April 22nd.
