Running February 21st through March 9th at The Lackland Center, this story of mistaken identity and half-truths has delighted audiences and critics time and again. The Wall Street Journal says, 'I laughed so hard that I was sore the next day...By wedding [Ives'] verbal prestidigitation to Corneille's mistaken-identity plot, Mr. Ives has come up with a play in which the laughs flow freely and joyously.'

Michael DuBois has been performing for over eight years with national appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Jay Leno Show and most recently on The Late Show with David Letterman. And he returns to Centenary Stage Company's Family Fun Series by popular demand. This Solo Circus act will keep audiences on the edge of their seats on Sunday, March 16th at 2pm at The Lackland Center. This show is a fast-paced, audience interactive variety show featuring an all-original presentation of magic, juggling, mind tricks, and circus and sideshow stunts all wrapped in a blanket of comedy made for adults just as much as it is for the younger members of the family. DuBois has been featured in several magazines, performed at over 500 colleges and universities across the U.S., and headlines multiple major cruise lines all over the world.

Centenary Stage to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Lunasa, 3/15

One of Ireland's most successful musical exports, Lunasa, have no intention of taking their foot off the Celtic pedal. Lunasa are internationally acknowledged as being the finest Irish instrumental band of recent times and they're coming to The Centenary Stage for a St. Patrick's weekend celebration to remember on Saturday, March 15th at 8 pm at The Lackland Center. On their first American visit, word-of-mouth led to sold-out shows and rave reviews. The New York Times wrote, 'A standing-room only crowd in New York confirmed Lunasa's reputation... This is the hottest Irish acoustic group on the planet.'

Bishop Townsley's Jubilee Returns to Centenary Stage Tonight

Bringing an array of over 20 singers, a live 14 piece orchestra and foot-stomping, exuberant choreography to set the stage a fire, Bishop Townsley's Jubilee is back by popular demand at the Centenary Stage Company. This musical revue was the most talked about event of the 2011 season, now audiences can see what all the fuss was about as this entertaining, high octane group of performers return for a night of song and dance tonight, February 8th at 8 p.m.

Rio Clemente Set for Annual Valentine's Day Performance at Centenary Stage, 2/16

From Manhattan's famed Birdland to the Lincoln Center and even a performance at the White House, anyone who has listened to Rio Clemente play piano comes away in awe. A native of Morristown, NJ and a member of its Hall of Fame, Rio Clemente, will make a stop at the Little Theatre on Sunday, February 16th at 2 p.m. for his annual Valentine's Day performance at Centenary Stage Company. This master pianist, also known as 'The Bishop of Jazz,' mixes a strong classical background with a rich knowledge of jazz history, then adds an amazing sense of creativity and interpretation. The result is music that transcends all others, and nearly always produces a standing ovation and cries for 'more.'

Centenary Stage Partners with Folger Shakespeare Library to Connect with Area Schools

Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts at Centenary College, Stephen Davis, has long been a teacher and advocate of the works of master playwright and poet William Shakespeare. For over five years, Davis has married his love of the bard and his love for education to help foster an appreciation for Shakespeare in the youth of New Jersey through a program sponsored by The Folger Shakespeare Library entitled Shakesperience, which will be hosted by Centenary Stage Company (CSC) for the first time on Tuesday, April 29th on the campus of Centenary College.

Clemente's career began with a BMI scholarship for musical theatre and subsequent studies at Julliard School of Music. Along with his classical training, Clemente developed a style embracing a diversity of music that makes him one of the most expressive and versatile pianists anywhere. He's been named Professional Artist of the Year by the Arts Council of the Morris Area, New Jersey Monthly Magazine named him among its 'Top 40 New Jerseyans', and the New Jersey Jazz Society named him Musician of the Year.

Wrapping up Centenary Stage Company's annual January Jazz Fest is the legendary Sammy Figueroa and his Latin Jazz Explosion on Saturday, January 25th at 8 p.m. Sammy Figueroa has long been regarded as one of the world's great musicians. Well-known for his versatility and professionalism, he is one of the few percussionists equally comfortable in a multitude of styles, from R & B to rock and pop to bebop, Latin to Brazilian, and New Age.

East Lynne and Other Area Theaters Receive Great Response at Drumthwacket

The recent partnership between The Drumthwacket Foundation, The Garden Club of New Jersey, and The New Jersey Theatre Alliance brought about a successful team for decorating Drumthwacket, the Governor's residence in Princeton. So popular was this event, named 'Drumthwacket on Stage,' that the Foundation added another holiday open house to the previously scheduled three, and over 4,000 people visited the Victorian mansion to see it all decked out during the month of December.
