Following a hugely successful workshop in 2019, producers Playful Productions, Stage Play and Trim the Wind have announced that Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Story, the definitive new musical featuring Bob Marley's iconic hits played live on stage, will begin previews in London at the newly refurbished Lyric Theatre on Saturday 6th February 2021. Brought to the stage by a multi award-winning team, Lee Hall's (Billy Elliot The Musical, Network) book takes direct inspiration from Marley's visionary lyrics to tell his extraordinary personal story as an artist, the production will be directed by Dominic Cooke (Follies, Clybourne Park) and star Arinzé Kene (Misty, Girl from the North Country).

Children's Theatre Company (CTC) has announced the Minnesota premiere of Bob Marley's Three Little Birds running January 19 through March 1, 2020. This exuberant musical is based on a story by Cedella Marley (Bob Marley's daughter) with music and lyrics by Bob Marley, and adapted for the stage by Michael J. Bobbitt. The production is directed by Shá Cage, music direction by Sanford Moore, and choreography by Alanna Morris-Van Tassel. The cast includes Ellis M. Dossavi (Ziggy), KateMarie Andrews (Nansi), Kory LaQuess Pullam (Duppy), Lynnea Monique Doublette (Cedella), Nathan Barlow (Dr. Bird), and Timotha Lanae (Tacoomah). CTC Announces 2019-2020 Season

Children's Theatre Company (CTC) is proud to announce the global 2019 - 2020 Season, including two CTC commissioned works, two international presentations, surprising reimagined classic fairy tales, and exciting musicals. This season will feature a wide range of productions that will engage conversations and create memories. Earlier in January, CTC announced that Rajane Katurah (former CTC Performing Apprentice) has accepted the position of Company Member, joining Autumn Ness, Dean Holt, Reed Sigmund, and Gerald Drake for the 2019 - 2020 Season.
