The producers of Once On This Island announced today that in honor of one year on Broadway they will celebrate their fans during the week of October 29. From October 29- November 4, the production will be hosting special events, giving away exclusive prizes, and offering a 2-for-1 deal on tickets. Once On This Island announced today that the Grammy Award-winning artist and Destiny's Child singer Michelle T. Williams will return to Broadway as Erzulie in the Tony Award winning Best Revival starting Friday, November 30. Michelle T. Williams will play the role through Sunday, June 2, 2019.

Once On This Island not only was a surprise winner at this year's Tony Awards when it took the Best Musical Revival Award, but its mascot goat, Sparky, became the darling of the night when it walked the red carpet. Now, you can have a piece of the show's caprine magic this Sunday, September 30 when the first 50 ticket buyers at the Circle in the Square Theatre box office take home a free plush toy goat. Hailey Kilgore will return to role of Ti Moune in Once On This Island tonight, Tuesday, September 4. Hailey has been out of the show due to a foot injury.

Actors' Equity Association has announced that Once on This Island will receive the eleventh annual Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2017-2018 season. Presented by Equity's National Equal Employment Opportunity Committee, the Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award honors shows that exemplify and promote the union's founding principles of diversity, inclusion, non-traditional casting and equal opportunity for all who work in the theatre.

Yesterday, June 19, Actors' Equity Association, the labor union for professional stage actors and stage managers, presented the 2018 Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) Award to the chorus of Once on This Island. The award, established in 2007, is given to what the committee votes on as the outstanding Broadway chorus of the season.

Actors' Equity Association has announced that Once on This Island will receive the twelfth annual "ACCA" Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA), the ACCA Award is the only industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.

BroadwayWorld has been checking in with Tony Award nominees all morning! We caught up with the nominated cast and creative from Once On This Island on Broadway to get their first reactions at being up for Tony Awards this season.

Broadway stars Phillip Boykin, Quentin Earl Darrington, Hailey Kilgore, Kenita R. Miller, Alex Newell, Isaac Powell, Lea Salonga and additional cast members of ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, along with composers Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty celebrated the release of the musical's cast album recording (available now through Broadway Records) at Barnes and Noble last night, March 14.
