Scheuer is the recipient of the 2021 Kleban Award for Lyrics. He is running monthly 'songwriter sessions' featuring esteemed special guest songwriters at Crazy Coqs, Piccadilly.

Acosta Danza, the company set up by international ballet star Carlos Acosta, returns with a new programme, 100% Cuban, following the cancellation of its tour in spring 2020. NDT 2, the second company of Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT), is back in the UK for the first time since 2016 with a triple bill by German, Dutch and Swedish choreographers.

Norwich Theatre and its co-producing partner Valid Productions have announced that they will re-mount and tour On Before, an intensely personal evening of dance conceived, directed and performed by legendary Cuban dancer, Carlos Acosta CBE, as UK venues re-open in July and August 2021. Emerging from the cultural crisis transformed, this is the first ever touring production from Norwich Theatre.

At a gala lunch held today attended by hundreds of ballet lovers, David McAllister AM, the immediate past Artistic Director of The Australian Ballet, was surprised when the event took a turn and became “David McAllister This Is Your Life”. The lunch entitled “Celebrating David McAllister AM with a little help from his Friends” was a joyous occasion with many surprise guests.

San Diego Opera has announced the continuation of its 2020-2021 season with a drive-in filmed encore presentation of the 2018 SDO production of All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 7 PM at the Del Mar Fairgrounds parking lot (2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd.). Prior to the screening of the film will be a live concert of holiday favorites starring members of the San Diego Opera Chorus including a singalong that patrons can enjoy from the comfort and safety of their own car.
