The board of the Hermitage Artist Retreat in the United States announced today that the organisation has chosen Andy Sandberg as its Artistic Director and Chief Executive Officer as of January 1, 2020. Sandberg succeeds Bruce Rodgers, who is retiring after serving as the Hermitage's Executive Director since 2005. Sandberg, an accomplished director, writer, and Tony Award-winning producer whose national and international career has been committed to new work and artist development, was selected following an extensive national search. In his new role, Sandberg will be responsible for overseeing the organisation's operations, artistic programs, administration, and strategic plan.

Pace students and the local community will have the chance to get firsthand insights from Candice Bergen and Hawk Koch in a conversation at Pace University on October 29th. Bergen starred in the critically acclaimed CBS comedy series a?oeMurphy Brown,a?? for which she received five Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards over a 10-year run. Last fall she returned to the iconic role in the CBS revival. Most recently she appeared in, a?oeBook Cluba?? alongside Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, and Mary Steenburgen.

LIVING FOR TODAY will present a benefit concert entitled Living for Today: a?oePut on a Happy Facea??, on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St) beginning at 7PM. The concert is produced and directed by David Alpert (If/Then, The Apple Boys) with music direction by Jason Wetzel (After Midnight). The production will feature a diverse cast consisting of Nicholas Santasier, Sly Augustus, David F. Slone Esq., Courtney Torres, Xiren Wang, Jaine Ye and Remington Moses (the great granddaughter of Ozzie & Harriet Nelson, granddaughter of Ricky Nelson and daughter of prolific television actors William Moses and Tracy Nelson). The production will be directed by TNC's Administrative Director Jonathan Weber, and is being produced by PRIME Stage to Screen, who brought the highly praised GREAT KILLS starring EMMY winner Joe Pantoliano to TNC in 2015.

Arkansas Repertory Theatre announced today that William Trice has been named the theatre's new executive artistic director. Trice, a Little Rock native, has served as Broadway producer in New York since 2010, producing work that has earned him three Tony Awards and five nominations.
