This live video is a stripped down version that was shot at the Masonic Ballroom in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and it features Aaron Parks on piano, Jeremy Boettcher on bass, Ben Lester on synth and pedal steel, and Hannah Hebl on voice. It was engineered and mixed by Brian Joseph, who we recorded the album with, and the video was shot by Ivy Media.

Due out July 26th on 6131 Records, Dig was produced by her brother S. Carey and recorded with engineer Brian Joseph, whose own credits include Sufjan Stevens' Carrie & Lowell and Local Natives Sunlit Youth among others. On “Unwritten” Carey ruminates on coming to terms with life's uncontrollable and not always pleasant twists and turns over a lush and percussive soundscape of banjo, mbira, and layered vocals. “Unwritten” follows lead singles “Professional Photos” and “Dig”, which was featured in the New York Times Friday playlist column.
