Sir Elton John honored The Lion King's 25th Anniversary on Broadway this morning by singing 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight' on Good Morning America. The Lion King will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Broadway this Thursday, November 10, with a performance on Good Morning America. The segment will also feature an appearance by the musical's composter, music superstar Elton John. The Broadway production currently stars Pearl Khwezi, L. Steven Taylor, Brandon A. McCall and more.

The Lion King will welcome Jelani Remy back to the Broadway production in the role of Simba beginning tonight, Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Brandon A. McCall is on a leave of absence and is scheduled to return Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

The Lion King is back on Broadway! Simba himself, Brandon A. McCall, took over our Instagram for the big day on September 14. He gave our followers a behind the scenes look at the show's performance on Good Morning America, their return to Broadway, and most importantly, his Broadway debut!

In celebration of their Broadway return, the cast of The Lion King performed this morning on Good Morning America! The cast began the performance from all across New York City-- from the Brooklyn Bridge to the Statue of Liberty-- and came together at the GMA studio in Times Square to a standing ovation.
