During the global pandemic, Jamie Hannah went back to his classical musical roots and delivered what he is best known for, writing a catalogue of haunting, yet uplifting melodies that are now ready to be released. ‘FLOWERS’ is the first song for his forthcoming EP.

Goodspeed Musicals announced today that it will produce the world premiere of Christmas in Connecticut – A New Musical this holiday season at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn.

Produced by Devin Greenwood (Broken Orchestra, Sufjan Stevens) at his Brooklyn studio The Honey Jar, the album features nine originals, one re-imagination of a classic and a palette inspired by the music of the songwriter’s youth including Peter Gabriel’s So and Paul Simon’s Graceland. The three band members met several years ago on Broadway during the production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Michael C. Hall is a musical talent and a longstanding Broadway performer, having played leading roles in Chicago, Cabaret, Hedwig and was selected by David Bowie to star in his musical, Lazarus.

This Adelaide Fringe, Frank Ford award-winner Patrick Livesey (The Boy, George, Gone Girls, DIRT) returns with an original solo performance, Naomi, about the life of their late mum who died by suicide in 2015. In this world premiere directed by Bronwen Coleman (DIRT), Livesey uses verbatim interviews as the basis for this gripping, at times heartbreaking and surprisingly funny new play about love and mental illness.

Boy George & TEG Live have joined forces to create FANTABULOSA, a recognition of the LGBTQIA+ community’s powerful impact & contribution to modern popular culture. FANTABULOSA will be a sparkling, sophisticated & memorable event, headlined and curated by Boy George, featuring reinterpretations & tributes to some of the greatest songs ever written.

The two companies are currently developing the international format for the hit Korean talent-competition series “Lotto Singer,” in which viewers can win cash prizes by correctly betting on contestants’ performances. The Masked Singer is currently in its sixth season at FOX.
