Stephen Kellogg Shares New Video For HIGH HIGHS, LOW LOWS Ahead of U.S. Tour

Stephen Kellogg has shared a new music video for “High Highs, Low Lows,” the standout single off his recently released Will Hoge-produced album Objects in the Mirror (November 23, 2018). Directed by filmmaker Peter Harding — also the director of the Amazon exclusive documentaryLast Man Standing, which tells the story of making Kellogg's previous album South, West, North, East — the video reveals a series of intimate candid shots from Kellogg's winter tour combined with striking scripted clips. It is premiering at Wide Open Country today who calls the song “a reflective tune about life's peaks and valleys that would sound at home alongside the FM hits of Bob Seger and Tom Petty.” Ahead of the album's release, American Songwriter featured the track describing it as “a slowly building folk anthem with chiming piano, gentle pedal steel and a raw, vulnerable vocal performance from Kellogg,” and Rolling Stone Country praised, “The slow-burn heartland rock of 'High Highs, Low Lows' unfolds like John Prine fronting the Heartbreakers.”

Grammy-nominated trio The Record Company, currently in the midst of a special run of arena shows as part of Bob Seger's final farewell, will kick off a headline tour on April 5 at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester, NY, extending their All Of This Life dates to more than a dozen American cities in spring of 2019, with stops at Red Rocks Amphitheater (supporting Dispatch), Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and Firefly Music Festival. The Country Music Association Announces 'Introducing Nashville' Shows

The Country Music Association, which recently announced its new international artist-focused touring series, Introducing Nashville, has added back-to-back performances at Blue Note Tokyo in Japan on Saturday, March 30 featuring Brandy Clark, Devin Dawson and Lindsay Ell. Prior to Japan, Introducing Nashville will visit multiple cities in Australia and New Zealand with Clark, Dawson, Ell and Tenille Townes (Australia only). Premium network EPIX has greenlit Punk, a four-part docuseries from executive producer John Varvatos. Varvatos brings his passion and deep connection to the roots of the PUNK movement to the series, partnering with filmmaker Derik Murray's Network Entertainment to produce the quintessential story of punk. The series is currently in production, and will premiere on EPIX on March 11, 2019 at 10 PM.

Stephen Kellogg is set to release Objects in the Mirror this Friday, November 23. Produced by fellow Americana singer-songwriter Will Hoge, the 12-track set was recorded over the course of a single week in Nashville, TN and tracked live with minimal overdubs. “I wanted to make an album that sounded and felt like the ones I grew up loving,' says Kellogg. Stephen Kellogg has shared a new single, “Symphony Of Joy,” from his forthcoming Will Hoge-produced full-length Objects in the Mirror due out November 23, 2018. The song is a buoyant Americana-rocker that harkens back to Tom Petty and Bob Seger, in a style that brings to mind the happy-go-lucky approach of Josh Ritter and Ben Rector. Written with his wife and four daughters in mind, “Symphony Of Joy” encourages women to not let society hold them back while inspiring men to support them as allies in their fight, all with an optimistic outlook for the future. In the chorus, he sings, “Dance, like a symphony of joy / And it's not your obligation to go easy on the boys / 'Cause the ceiling's gonna shatter and believe me when it does / Those who pinned you to the margins, baby, they'll be sweeping up.”
