Today saw the press launch for War Horse at Birmingham Hippodrome which coincides with the tickets going on general sale for its run this autumn.

An educational symposium looking into issues around integration into adult life for young people with learning disabilities is taking place at Birmingham Hippodrome in February. After a two-year absence the much loved Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, affectionately known as "The Trocks" by their fans, return to Birmingham Hippodrome on Friday 1 & Saturday 2 February 2013.

Batsheva Ensemble, the youth branch of Israel's world-renowned contemporary dance group, Batsheva Dance Company, appear at Birmingham Hippodrome on Tuesday 13 - Wednesday 14 November for the very first time, performing Deca Danceby Batsheva's Artistic Director Ohad Naharin - part of a Dance Consortium UK debut tour.

Bill Kenwright's production of Blood Brothers seems to be constantly touring the UK. Some may say a little too often but with Birmingham Hippodrome packed to the rafters last night and the reaction that the show received, there is still obviously a high demand for the production.

The touring production of THE LION KING will play Birmingham Hippodrome from Saturday 29th June 2013 as part of its first-ever UK tour. The legendary musical will visit Birmingham for a three-month season, giving audiences the opportunity to experience the global phenomenon in their local theatre.
