Los Angeles musical producer Clifford Bell announced today that he and entertainer Kiki Ebsen were staging 'Giving Thanks: A Benefit for Autism Works Now,' a musical brunch at Feinstein's at Vitello's in Studio City to benefit the nonprofit Autism Works Now, funded by researcher Joanne Lara. Says Bell, 'I produce a lot of Live Entertainment - maybe three or four shows every month and I have for many decades now.'

Jersey City Theater Center (JCTC) honors National Native American Heritage Month with a celebration of the indigenous people of Hudson County and New Jersey. This Native American festival features an art exhibit by Jack 'Crying Raven' Anderson and an exclusive screening of American Native, a documentary on the history and present day struggles of the Native peoples of New Jersey.

DACAMERA of Houston continues its 2019a?"2020 jazz series with Blue Note Records 80th Birthday Celebration, an evening honoring the legendary jazz record label with performances by three outstanding artists on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. at the Wortham Theater Center's Cullen Theater. The first date in a nationwide anniversary tour, the concert lineup features Kandace Springs, James Francies and the James Carter Organ Trio, each performing a set of their own music, followed by a finale with all of the artists coming together to perform a classic Blue Note tune.

American industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie and Louise Whitfield were married on April 22, 1887 in a quiet ceremony attended by a small number of family and friends.
