Prime Video has renewed the thriller series Cross for an eight-episode third season. Based upon characters created by James Patterson, the series, created by Ben Watkins, stars Aldis Hodge as the detective Alex Cross.

The Emma Rice Company has announced the cast for its UK tour of MALORY TOWERS, adapted and directed by Emma Rice from the novels by Enid Blyton. The production will tour nationally before concluding its run at Alexandra Palace Theatre in London.

Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer and first-look images for the highly anticipated crime thriller series CROSS, starring Aldis Hodge as Alex Cross. On November 14, all eight episodes will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

A new musical adaptation of Enid Blyton's Malory Towers is heading to Storyhouse during Summer 2020.

David Pugh will present Emma Rice's critically acclaimed musical adaptation of Enid Blyton's Malory Towers, originally created with Wise Children. This new production will be co-produced with Theatre by the Lake, Keswick, where the production will open on 27 March 2020, before going on a national tour, concluding at Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall, where it will play from 27 July to 31 August, with national press performances on 31 July, 1 and 2 August.

SHOWTIME has announced that Emmy and Golden Globe nominee David Oyelowo (Selma) will play the title role in the drama series THE PRESIDENT IS MISSING. The network has ordered a pilot, which is currently in pre-production and scheduled to shoot in 2020. Academy Award® winner Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects), Anthony Peckham (Invictus), Heather McQuarrie and Oyelowo will executive produce the series. Peckham is writing the adaptation. The announcement was made today by Gary Levine and Jana Winograde, Presidents of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc.

Co-produced by York Theatre Royal in association with Bristol Old Vic, Malory Towers, based on the novels of Enid Blyton, is adapted and directed by Emma Rice.

Wise Children's adaptation of Enid Blyton's Malory Towers, co-produced by York Theatre Royal in association with Bristol Old Vic, will star Rebecca Collingwood as Gwendoline Lacey, Mirabelle Gremaud as Irene Bartlett, Vinnie Heaven as Bill Robinson, Izuka Hoyle as Darrell Rivers, Renee Lamb as Alicia Johns, Francesca Mills as Sally Hope and Rose Shalloo as Mary Lou Atkinson. Adapted and directed by Emma Rice, the musical opens on 25 July 2019 at The Passenger Shed in the company's home city of Bristol, before embarking on a national tour to Cambridge, York, Exeter, Manchester and Oxford.

CBS today announced premiere dates for drama series airing this summer, including the new action-adventure series BLOOD & TREASURE; the seventh and final season of the modern day Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson drama, ELEMENTARY; and the second season of INSTINCT, starring Alan Cumming and Bojana Novakovic.
