This September, Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

Riverside Theatre, led by Producing Artistic Director/CEO Allen D. Cornell and Managing Director/COO Jon R. Moses, starts its 43rd season with the celebrated musical featuring the music of American Icon, Johnny Cash, in Ring Of Fire. Sponsored by John & Marilyn McConnell and Riverside Theatre's Patron Producers' Group, Ring Of Fire plays the Stark Stage from October 25 through November 13, 2016.  

On Monday, September 18 the Theater People podcast welcomes Tony and Emmy Award winning director Thomas Kail. For the episode, Kail discusses creating the smash hit musical HAMILTON alongside his longtime collaborator Lin-Manuel Miranda.

On September 10, the Bechdel family is flying away from Broadway's Circle in the Square Theater when the the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winner for Best Musical plays its final performance. But before the cast moves out of their Broadway home, BroadwayWorld brought a few of the Bechdel's together for one last interview to reminisce on some memories from their run, the emotional response to the piece, backstage camaraderie, and the political timeliness that has made Fun Home, as Judy Kuhn puts it, 'a show meant for right now.'

After this weekend's heated response to Wells Fargo's recent ad campaign seeming to disparage careers in the arts, regional theaters have started to chime in on the issue. SDMT in San Diego launched its own campaign to support the arts, while Blumenthal Performing Arts is defending Wells Fargo.

San Diego Musical Theatre took to social media with its own response and launched a counter-ad campaign: #ReadyForTomorrow, shifting the Wells Fargo's tagline from, 'Let's get them ready for tomorrow' to 'The arts made me ready for tomorrow.' The campaign shines a light on the impact the arts have had on individual lives and features individuals who make a living in the arts.

On September 10, the Bechdel family will move out of the Fun Home (or the Circle in the Square Theatre), when the the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning Best Musical, plays its final performance on Broadway. Before the doors close for good, however, BroadwayWorld brought the family together one last time to reminisce about some of the show's most amazing moments. The 90s are back! LezCab, a non-profit theatre company devoted to creating an accurate and meaningful representation of queer women in order to foster equality and community, will present LezCab Sings the 90s on August 29, 2016 at Joe's Pub.

Kushnier made his Broadway debut in the lead role of Ren McCormack in the 1998 production of FOOTLOOSE. He went on to star on Broadway in RENT, JERSEY BOYS, and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. He was a part of the original New York company of SHEAR MADDNESS, and he can currently be seen in PARAMOUR, Cirque Du Soliel's first-ever Broadway production.

On Monday, August 15, the Theater People podcast welcomes three-time Tony-winning producer Kevin McCollum. Best known for producing Broadway mega-hits RENT, AVENUE Q, and, IN THE HEIGHTS, McCollum is also know for taking chances on smaller shows and shepherding them to Broadway. He brought THE DROWSY CHAPERONE to Broadway in 2006--it would go on to win five Tony Awards--and [TITLE OF SHOW] to Broadway in 2009.

Tony award-winner and star of Broadway's FUN HOME, Michael Cerveris, has penned an article for the New York Times theater section detailing the events of last week's benefit concert of the show in Orlando, Florida.

BROADWAY BARKS just held their 18th annual star-studded dog and cat adoption event to benefit New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. Founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, Broadway Barks featured a slew of celebrities from the hottest shows on Broadway.
