Tony Award-winning actress and comedienne Julie Halston (Sex and the City, Gossip Girl, Tootsie) will emcee the 12th annual Broadway Belts for PFF!, an unforgettable evening of entertainment featuring some of Broadway's hottest stars. This year's hybrid event will take place live at New York City's Edison Ballroom and virtually on Friday evening, April 29, 2022. The event is the single largest fundraiser for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF).

Long Island Musical Theatre Festival has announced that Stephen Schwartz will join its 2022 summer program as a guest artist. Schwartz will join a long list of LIMTF guest artists, which includes Beth Leavel, Jeanine Tesori, Alice Ripley, Jay Armstrong Johnson and more.

Jay commenced the first complete recording of the original version of the musical with the original orchestrations by Philip J. Lang at Abbey Road Studios, London on October 5 1996 and completed it at Clinton Recording Studios, New York on October 19 1996. This will be the first time it is released to the public.

Centenary Stage Company's Young Performers Workshop returns this spring from February 12 through June 5, and the deadline to apply is February 11. This is a 15-week theatre training program that will conclude with a weekend of shows performed by the students. The price for the first student is $425.00, a second student is $395.00, and a third student is $300.00. Today’s subject Courtney Balan is currently living her theatre life on tour as the self-absorbed Broadway star Dee Dee Allen in the TOTALLY original musical The Prom.  The show plays through January 16th in the Eisenhower at The Kennedy Center. It will then continue on locally to The Hippodrome in Baltimore, MD from Jan 18th through 23rd.

In comes Company! Just last night, the much anticipated revival of Company, starring Tony winner Katrina Lenk and two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone, opened on Broadway at the Bernard B.
