The highly acclaimed new Australian musical produced by Carmen Pavlovic, CEO of Global Creatures, Muriel's Wedding The Musical, commences in Melbourne in March at Her Majesty's Theatre with previews from March 12 and opening night on March 23. 

This April the Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance, a program within the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts at Wayne State University, is producing Benny Andersson & Bjorn Ulvaeus's record-breaking Broadway musical, Mamma Mia! Over 54 million people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story and the music that make Mamma Mia! the ultimate feel-good show. A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. Performing at the Bonstelle Theatre April 5 to 14, it's a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!

As if in heaven is running on it second season and the producer Vicky von der Lancken is not ruling out even a fourth season for it due to high ticket demand. It just celebraited show no 100.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) Artistic Director Terrence Mann and Executive Producer Matthew J. Pugliese are pleased to announce the lineup for the 2019 Nutmeg Summer Series. The third season under the artistic leadership of three-time Tony Award nominee Mann will include, "Mamma Mia" and "Cabaret." The Nutmeg Summer Series will run June 6 through July 21. When attending a jukebox musical, it's expected that the best part of the show will likely be the cherished songs and vocals. MAMMA MIA showcases music and lyrics by ABBA's Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, and a book by Catherine Johnson that is predictably a bit surface-level and 'cheesy', for lack of a better word. Of course, this effect is almost expected when adapting a collection of an artist's songs for the stage, and cheesy can be wonderful. However, there is a way to stage a cheesy musical without seeming inauthentic. There were moments in Theatre Under the Stars' MAMMA MIA that worked, and some that didn't.

Local talent Stephfond Brunson has brought none other than the global smash hit musical Mamma Mia! to life at the daring “theater in the mall,” otherwise known as The Central New York Playhouse. Thanks to Brunson's direction and high energy choreography, the catchy and pure fun musical built around the music of ABBA is, without a doubt, entertaining.
