It was announced today that Grace Aki’s To Free a Mockingbird will come to the 2022 SheNYC Theater Festival running  July 25-August 7th at the Connelly Theater!

COT is gearing up for the world premiere of Quamino's Map, but they have announced their 22/23 season lineup, which includes a long-awaited Chicago premiere, a new production of a well-loved classic, and several world premieres.

Star of stage and screen Lee Mead will play the role of 'Billy Flynn' in the acclaimed UK and Ireland tour of the international smash hit musical CHICAGO. Lee joins the previously announced Gemma Collins as 'Mama Morton', Faye Brookes as 'Roxie Hart', Djalenga Scott as 'Velma Kelly', Jamie Baughan as 'Amos Hart' and B.E. Wong as 'Mary Sunshine'.

Great River Shakespeare Festival has announced casting for the 2022 Season as it returns home to the WSU Performing Arts Center in Winona, MN.

Yale Repertory Theatre will conclude its 2022 season with Between Two Knees. The play, written by the intertribal sketch comedy troupe The 1491s and directed by Eric Ting, is presented with Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Between Two Knees will be performed May 12–June 4 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street).

The prominent international reggae band, Dub Inc. is excited to announce their 2022 Spring West Coast U.S.A. tour! It has been over 10 years since the French superstars have been in the United States and they are beyond excited to return once again. Dub Inc will embark on their debut West Coast tour with Hawaii’s own Mike Love.

This week, FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club & Private Event Destination, will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

One of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers, and the coat of many colors. Told entirely through song with the help of a main character Narrator, the musical follows preferred son Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers, he ingratiates himself with Egyptian noble Potiphar, but ends up in jail after refusing the amorous advances of Potiphar's wife. While imprisoned, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled, Elvis-inspired, Pharaoh. Joseph's solution to Egypt's famine elevates him to Pharaoh's right-hand man and reunites him with his family.

New York Youth Symphony Jazz, led by Director Andy Clausen, will finish their season at The Times Center on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 7:00 PM featuring Benny Benack III as a trumpeter and Shenel Johns as a vocalist. Also, they will be performing a NYYS First Music Commission from Benjamin Morris.

This time around, they’ve linked up with Camylio who provides a melodious vocal to the energetic endeavor. The new track follows up Quarterhead, Cheat Codes, and KIDDO’s ‘Lucky’, in addition to Camylio’s single ‘i tried’ from earlier last month. Out now via Universal Music Germany, ‘Is It Love’ is available to listen to on all streaming platforms.

Works & Process, the performing arts series at the Guggenheim, will present the world premiere of Third Bird, with a libretto and direction by Isaac Mizrahi, music by composer Nico Muhly (played by Ensemble Signal and conducted by Brad Lubman), choreography by John Heginbotham, and lighting by Brandon Stirling Baker.

Sacramento-based singer-songwriter Bobby Halvorson is pleased to release his latest single 'Function,' the lastest single to be lifted from his album Parasympathy. Parasympathy, which will be released on up-and-coming label George Records, will include many of the songs he’s recently released in addition to five more unreleased tracks. 

The curtain was raised last night at National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene for the opening night of the anticipated musical Harmony written by Barry Manilow and Bruce Sussman.

Community Arts Music Association (CAMA) of Santa Barbara will conclude its 2022 season in spectacular fashion on Tuesday, May 24, with an appearance by acclaimed Canadian violinist James Ehnes at the Lobero Theatre.
