Following its debut on PBS's Great Performances in May, the official proshot of Broadway's Girl From the North Country will be making its way to physical media in the UK.

PBS Great Performances has released a new video highlighting the new proshot of the Tony Award-winning musical Girl From the North Country. In the video, director and playwright Conor McPherson, orchestrator Simon Hale, and movement director Lucy Hind all discuss the production and the challenge of bringing Bob Dylan's songs into 1930s Minnesota. Watch the video!

Girl From the North Country, the Tony-award winning musical featuring the songs of Bob Dylan, will be coming to PBS this May. The live capture of the Broadway musical will premiere as part of Great Performances on Friday, May 23 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS.

Chicago Shakespeare Theater has announced the cast and creative team of its highly anticipated North American Premiere musical event Sunny Afternoon.

Paramount Theatre kicks off its 13th Broadway Series with THE FULL MONTY, a musical about blue-collar steelworkers turned male strippers, running from August 21 to October 6.

The current production at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire is Beautiful, the Carole King Musical. This is more than a jukebox musical. It tells the amazing story of one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th Century and how her story evolved. It begins with Carole’s June 1971 concert at Carnegie Hall.

Mare Winningham and Jeannette Bayardelle sat down with Sherri Shepherd on the Wendy Show to discuss starring in Girl From the North Country on Broadway. During the interview, the stars reacted to their Tony nominations, revealing how they found out, and detailed their meeting with Bob Dylan, whose music is used in the show.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul visited Girl From The North Country on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre this evening. Prior to the show, she visited with the cast and came onstage to give brief remarks about Broadway’s resilience and the comeback of New York City.  

The Tony Nominated Broadway musical Girl From The North Country announced that the production was professionally captured prior to its re-opening on April 29th for future use.

Last night, Girl From The North Country hosted a special performance and gala to celebrate their third time opening on Broadway, as well as their seven Tony Award nominations, including “Best New Musical.”
