Little Angel Theatre announced shows for their upcoming Autumn / Winter season

Early staging of a song cycle that is a delight from start to finish - and can only get better still!

Artistic Director of Polka Theatre, Peter Glanville today announces the line up for the company's Autumn/Winter season.

Fierylight and Little Angel Theatre have announced new autumn tour dates and a West End run for their musical adaptation of The Smartest Giant in Town, adapted from the classic story by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. 

Olivier winner and Tony nominee Tracie Bennett (Hangmen, End of the Rainbow) and Laiona Michelle (Little Girl Blue, Amazing Grace) have joined the line-up for the 10th annual “Night Of A Thousand Judys.'

Respected cabaret artist Susanne Mack recently finished a run of shows at Pangea and guest reviewer Andrew Poretz has some high praise for her.

Much-lauded cabaret singer Susanne Mack will play her 2021 show FRAGMENTS for one final encore.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is now accepting applications for the Cabaret & Performance Conference Fellows Program. The professional program, helmed by Artistic Director John McDaniel, will take place August 10-20, 2022 on the O'Neill's seaside campus.

The cast and creative teams have been announced for three enchanting family productions across Polka Theatre's two main spaces this spring. From captivating revivals to twists on old tales, there's something for every member of the family in this brilliant programme. 

German born, New York-based vocalist Susanne Mack is returning to Pangea with her new cabaret show, Fragments, on Friday, February 25 and Thursday, March 3, 2022. Both shows are at 7 PM. Music director Paul Greenwood is at the piano. The show was directed by Barb Jungr.

German born New York-based vocalist Susanne Mack is returning to Pangea (178 Second Avenue) for two (2) performances of her all-new show, “Fragments,” a celebration of human resilience and our deep connectedness to one another in times of separation, disruption, and confusion.

Kicking off the new year, and following a hugely successful run at Little Angel Theatre in 2018, a UK Tour in 2019 and a new run at Polka, The Singing Mermaid, a Little Angel Theatre and Royal & Derngate, Northampton co-production, by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks and adapted by Samantha Lane and Barb Jungr will run at Little Angel Theatre from 25 February to 24 April 2022.

“Possibly our greatest interpreter of Dylan’s songs”, Barb Jungr is releasing a new recording of  Leonard Cohen‘s ‘Famous Blue Raincoat’ from her latest collection, ‘Forgetful Heart’, featuring love songs by Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen.

Today, 24 November 2021 iconic children's venue Little Angel Theatre celebrates 60 years of entertaining and inspiring generations of families through the magical artform of puppetry.  When a troupe of enthusiastic puppeteers under the leadership of John and Lyndie Wright transformed a derelict temperance hall in Islington into a theatre specially designed for children's marionette shows in 1961, nothing like it existed anywhere in London. 

Following a critically acclaimed run at Little Angel Theatre over the summer, producers Fierylight and Little Angel Theatre are delighted to announce a UK tour of The Smartest Giant in Town which will commence on 9 February and continue through to May 2022.

MAC is inviting all songwriters to submit their original songs for consideration for one of MAC's two songwriting awards: the Dottie Burman Award and the John Wallowitch Award. Submitters do not need to be MAC members. There is no submission fee. MAC encourages all songwriters to submit their work for consideration.
