Disney Channel Announces December Programming Highlights

This past Saturday night, some of Hollywood's most talented comedians gathered at Variety's Power of Comedy Event Presented by Xbox One and benefitting The Noreen Fraser Foundation and their Men for Women Program, which uses humor to engage men to join the fight against women's cancers. The 4th annual celebration was held at The Avalon Hollywood and honored Jimmy Kimmel with Variety's Power of Comedy Award, in recognition for his remarkable contributions to comedy as the host and executive producer of the Emmy Award-winning Jimmy Kimmel Live! Additional sponsors of the event included Amazon Studios, GUINNESS, Johnnie Walker, Skype and Unite4:Good.

Comedian, actor, and Vine aficionado Chris D'Elia is back on Comedy Central in the world premiere of 'Chris D'Elia: White Male. Black Comic.' debuting on Friday, December 6 at Midnight ET/PT.

Grammy Award-winning band Arcade Fire announced today the REFLEKTOR TOUR in support of their international #1 album, Reflektor (Merge). The REFLEKTOR TOUR will kick off on March 6, 2014 in Louisville, KY. The Live Nation produced tour will take the band to 28 cities throughout North America. This year The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), presented in association with COMEDY CENTRAL, marks its 10th anniversary today, November 6 through Sunday, November 10. The festival will once again bring laughs to all the boroughs in New York City, and adding several new venues. The 2013 festival line-up will be announced in August, at which time tickets will also go on sale. Additional shows will be added in the fall.

Netflix released its third-quarter 2013 financial results today and announced it now boasts 40 million subscribers worldwide, up from less than 30 million just one year ago. Chief Executive Officer Reed Hastings, Chief Financial Officer David Wells and Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos participated in a live video interview this afternoon, and you can watch it below!

Vulture has revealed that beginning this week, PARKS AND REC will be replaced by an encore episode of THE VOICE, before returning for back-to-back episodes on Nov. 14 and Nov. 21. NBC will then air various sports and holiday specials until the coemdy returns with COMMUNITY in January 2014.
