Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with the next edition in his monthly residency of AT THIS PERFORMANCE…™ to be held on Monday, April 24th at The Green Room 42, Green Fig, Fourth Floor, Yotel NYC, 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street), New York, NY 10036 at 7 PM. 

Seven schools have been selected to perform on the main stage at the 2023 International Thespian Festival (ITF): the annual teen theatre event that represents high school theatre’s biggest stage, held June 19-23 this year at Indiana University in Bloomington and produced by the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA).

AT THIS PERFORMANCE…  returns to The Green Room 42 featuring Standbys, Understudies and Alternates from SIX THE MUSICAL; & JULIET;  KIMBERLY AKIMBO; ALMOST FAMOUS; MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG; KINKY BOOTS and BAT OUT OF HELL.  

At This Performance…  will return to The Green Room 42 featuring standbys, understudies, and alternates From Moulin Rouge! The Musical; Almost Famous; Hadestown; Funny Girl; Aladdin; and Paradise Square.  

The ACLU and the NYCLU hosted the 20th Annual Sing Out For Freedom benefit concert on Monday, October 24th. Performers and presenters included comedian Alex Edelman (Just For Us), 2022 Tony-Nominee Shoshana Bean, Tony-nominated actor Ato Blankson-Wood (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Slave Play) and more. Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Award-winner Billy Porter will host Tectonic Theater Project’s annual benefit cabaret, A Tectonic Cabaret on Monday, October 3, 2022. Directed by Timothy Koch, under the artistic direction of Moisés Kaufman, A Tectonic Cabaret will feature performances by an all-star cast.

AT THIS PERFORMANCE…  returns to The Green Room 42 featuring Standbys, Understudies and Alternates from INTO THE WOODS; DEAR EVAN HANSEN; PARADISE SQUARE; LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS; ROCK OF AGES and THE BEDWETTER.

The summer concerts — free and open to all New Yorkers — will include performances from 2022 Tony Award Nominee Shoshana Bean (Wicked, Waitress, Mr. Saturday Night), 2022 Tony Award Winner Matt Doyle (Company, Spring Awakening), Ashley de la Rosa (Hamilton, Mean Girls, Rent) and Jelani Remy (The Lion King, Ain’t Too Proud).
