Dusk Dances proudly presents its 25th annual season, returning to Withrow Park this summer with another week of exquisite dance works from Canada's finest dance makers! Dusk Dances is a renowned and beloved outdoor dance festival presented at Withrow Park each August. Dusk Dances 2019 features some of Canada's top choreographers and dancers, including Hanna Kiel, Meredith Thompson, Mix Mix Dance Collective, Denise Fujiwara and Yuichiro Inouo, Pulga Muchochoma & Naishi Wang, in a diverse program of dance.

Freestyle Love Supreme is headed to Broadway! The full crew, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Daveed Diggs, Christopher Jackson, James Monroe Iglehart, and more, all posed for a photo together recently, which Iglehart posted on Twitter.

CONTEMPORANEITY 3.0 is a new presenting series by Anandam Dance theatre in partnership with Toronto Dance Theatre, featuring new works and works-in-progress by artists practicing in Asian, African, Latin American, Arab and Indigenous dance forms. CONTEMPORANEITY 3.0 features dance pieces by NOVA DANCE (Toronto), MIX MIX DANCE COLLECTIVE (Toronto), and PADMINI CHETTUR (India). This new series will be presented April 3 - 6, 2019 at Toronto Dance Theatre.

Lin-Manuel Miranda's comedy hip hop group Freestyle Love Supreme celebrated opening night of their new off-Broadway show last night, February 12.

On Tuesday, October 30, Teens for Food Justice(TFFJ) held its annual gala, "Feast 2018 with Chef David Laris," an immersive dinner theatre experience honoring international superstars Emilio and GloriaEstefan, model and actress Karolina Kurkovaand her husband Archie Drury at Tribeca Rooftop. Winners for the 2017 Chita Rivera Awards were announced just last night at The Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Following the show, guests celebrated at Sardi's and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the festivities!

Cast members from the Broadway musical Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 celebrated their Broadway run with an encore performance at Broadway at W New York on Sunday, August 27th at 7:30 pm.
