 Nancy Manocherian’s the cell theatre and Nightclub Cantata LLC, by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals, will presen the 45th anniversary production of Elizabeth Swados’ 1977 breakout sensation Nightclub Cantata, a provocative, eclectic and heralded theatrical creation rarely seen since its inception decades ago. 

Directed by  Nicholas Viselli , with musical direction by  Dionne McClaine-Freeney, BRECHT ON BRECHT  will begin performance on October 19 and will celebrate its opening night on Thursday, October 28, 2021, running through November 20, 2021, at  A.R.T./ NY Theatre  ( 502 West 53rd Street, NYC).  

Theater Breaking Through Barriers, the only professional Off-Broadway theater company dedicated to advancing artists and developing audiences of people with disabilities, will return to Off-Broadway with the timeless revue – Brecht on Brecht.

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today that their next Performance on Screen digital production is Little Gem. Reprising their roles from Irish Rep’s 2019 production are Brenda Meaney (Indian Ink), Lauren O’Leary (The Awkward Years) and four-time Academy Award nominee & Outer Critic’s Circle Award winner Marsha Mason (The Goodbye Girl).

Fellowship for Performing Arts announced today that the New York premiere of Paradise Lost will extend due to popular demand. Originally scheduled to conclude its run on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020, Paradise Lost will now play an additional week, through Sunday, March 1, 2020.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts announced this year's Literature Live! production of A Raisin in the Sun, by Lorraine Hansberry; directed by Lydia Fort. The show starts November 14 and runs through December 1. This classic work from the American Theater is celebrating its sixtieth anniversary of the play's first production on Broadway.

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today an extension for Little Gem by Elaine Murphy (Shush) and directed by Marc Atkinson Borrull (Outlying Islands). Little Gem began previews on July 17, 2019 on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage and opened July 25 and will now play through September 8, 2019.
