Producers Tim Forbes and Joey Parnes announced that, due to current world circumstances, they have launched a massive virtual open call in order to find the stars of the upcoming premiere of KPOP: The Broadway Musical, conceived by Woodshed Collective and Jason Kim with a book by Mr. Kim; music, lyrics and music production by Helen Park.

Target Margin Theater has announced WE WILL CARE FOR YOU, a performative action distributing 100 face masks via bike messenger across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. Handmade by award-winning costume designers Dina El-Aziz, Ásta Bennie Hostetter, and Normandy Sherwood, 50 face masks will be available to the public for a contribution.

Nominations for the 35th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were announced today by theatre veterans Jeremy Jordan and Ashley Spencer. The Awards will be presented during a special online event on Sunday, May 3, broadcast on the official website - www.LortelAwards.org - beginning at 7:00pm ET. A virtual 'host' and presenters will be announced at a later date. In response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, Ars Nova has canceled the remainder of its 2019-2020 season, originally set to conclude on June 30, 2020. This includes the premiere of Heather Christian's Oratorio for Living Things, the 13th annual ANT Fest, and all of the discovery and developmental programming that was scheduled to take place.

After being postponed at Joe's Pub due to the unforeseen pandemic, Justin Sayre brings his wild and witty comedy variety show The Meeting* to Livestream on March 22 at 8:00 PM EST. The Virtual show will be filmed in Julian Fleisher's 'Gay-sement,' a fully working stage and salon room in his home in Bovina Center, New York.

Beginning today, March 12, Ars Nova will suspend performances of Heather Christian's Oratoriofor Living Things and close their offices at the Ars Nova Hub (511 W 54th Street) and Ars Nova at Greenwich House (27 Barrow Street) for 30 days.
