Arizona Theatre Company’s production of THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE ends on a high note, proving that, even in the absence of good writing, you can’t beat the charm and appeal of drag! The show runs through July 16th at the Herberger Theater Center in Phoenix AZ.

If you missed the Alliance Theatre’s THE HOT WING KING, you missed a once-in-a-lifetime regional premiere of a play the Pulitzer board described as a “deeply felt consideration of Black masculinity and how it is perceived filtered through the experiences of a loving gay couple and their extended family.”

The Alliance Theatre has announced the cast of its upcoming regional premiere of The Hot Wing King. Rehearsals started today.  Written by P-Valley creator, Katori Hall, the Alliance's production of The Hot Wing King marks Hall's first time directing the 2021 Pulitzer Prize-winning play for drama. Kicking off the second half of the Alliance's 2022-2023 season, The Hot Wing King will run on The Coca-Cola Stage at Alliance Theatre from February 10 – March 5, 2023.

The cast for Season 2 is Amanda Bearse (Bros & Married With Children), Jai Rodriguez (Bros & Queer Eye), Bobby Costanza (Friends), Aida Rodriguez (HBOMax Comedy Special: Fighting Words), Armand Fields (Queer As Folk), Debra Wilson (Mad TV & Star Wars Jedi), Krishna Smitha (Morning Show), Bryon Quiros (General Hospital), and more.

Jueliette Lews, Ed Begley Jr., Armand Fields, Chris Renfro, Eric Graise, Sachin Bhatt and Benito Skinner join the previously announced Kim Cattrall, Devin Way, Fin Argus, Jesse James Keitel, Candace Grace, Johnny Sibilly, and Ryan O'Connell in this reimagining of the groundbreaking British series.

McEnany was nominated for a Film Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Performance in a New Scripted Series and won a Gracie Award for Outstanding Female Actor in a Breakthrough Role.

The series is created by Steve Conrad ('Perpetual Grace Ltd.'), who will join the all-star cast for a Q&A and first look at the series.  'Ultra City Smiths' premieres July 22 on AMC+. Additional panelists will be confirmed at a later date.

On Friday, December 6, SHOWTIME hosted the premiere for the new comedy series WORK IN PROGRESS. The screening was held at the AMC River East 21 in Chicago and was followed by a reception at the Beacon Tavern.
