Musical legends Mariah Carey, Annie Lennox / Dave Stewart p/k/a Eurythmics, Ernie Isley / Marvin Isley / O'Kelly Isley / Ronald Isley / Rudolph Isley / Chris Jasper p/k/a The Isley Brothers, Steve Miller, Chad Hugo / Pharrell Williams p/k/a The Neptunes, Rick Nowels and William “Mickey” Stevenson will become the latest inductees of the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the organization's 51st Annual Induction and Awards Dinner. These legendary songwriters wrote mega-hits such as, 'Vision of Love,”  “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” “Shout,” “The Joker,” “Hollaback Girl,” “Heaven is a Place on Earth,” and “Dancing In The Street.” The star-studded induction event is slated for Thursday, June 11th at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Additional special award honorees will be announced soon.

For the first time in forever, Disney's smash hit musical Frozen is getting a new pair of royal sisters! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Ciara Renée and McKenzie Kurtz will join the cast of Broadway's Frozen as Elsa and Anna on February 18 alongside Ryan McCartan as Hans. They take over the roles from Caissie Levy, Patti Murin, and Joe Carroll. To get you ready for coronation day, we're getting to know the show's two new leading ladies.

The Recording Academy® has confirmed the next slate of performers for the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. Set to perform on Music's Biggest Night® are current GRAMMY® nominees Camila Cabello; H.E.R.; Jonas Brothers; Rosalía; and Tyler, The Creator; 10-time GRAMMY winner Bonnie Raitt, who will pay tribute to Lifetime Achievement Award recipient John Prine; Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipients Run-D.M.C will join Aerosmith; and 13-time GRAMMY nominee Charlie Wilson. They join previously announced performers Aerosmith, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Demi Lovato, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Live from STAPLES Center, and hosted by Alicia Keys, the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network, Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT.

Cast members from Broadway shows including The Tina Turner Musical, Waitress and Head Over Heels will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of the British rock band, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations of their music.

The Guild of Music Supervisors announced today the nominees of their landmark 10th annual award ceremony celebrating outstanding achievement in the craft of Music Supervision in movies, television, games, advertising, and trailers. Crowning the evening will be this year's Icon Award honoree composer and lyricist Burt Bacharach. Bacharach will join industry legend Bob Hunka who will receive the organization's prestigious Legacy Award. Bacharach and Hunka will receive their honors at the 10th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards taking place on Wednesday, February 6th at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles.
