NOTES FROM AN ARTIST radio / podcast hosts David C. Gross and Tom Semioli present GET BACK NYC to benefit Teen Cancer America's Play It Back Music Program, to be held at THE CUTTING ROOM on Monday 6 December 2021 at 7:00 PM. Admission is $20.00 with all proceeds going to TEEN CANCER AMERICA.

The Flynn has added two big shows to its star-studded spring 2022 season. First, groundbreaking comic and podcaster Marc Maron brings his new stand-up show to the Flynn on March 12 at 7 pm.

While the show would not be a direct spinoff of the Ellen Degeneres Show, it would be the new Warner Bros. flagship daytime talk show once Degeneres' program concludes. The test run was recently shot on Ellen's stage and is currently being pitched to different television station groups.

The Country Music Association has announced even more performers for “The 55th Annual CMA Awards.” Country Music’s Biggest Night™ will see Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley feat. BRELAND and HARDY, Luke Bryan, Jennifer Hudson, Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban, and Zac Brown Band front and center on the CMA Awards stage. The night will be hosted by Luke Bryan.

Today, BET announced three-time GRAMMY® award-winning singer-songwriter and producer Maxwell will receive the ‘Legend’ award at the 2021 “Soul Train Awards”. Award-winning and multiplatinum singer/songwriter, actor, entrepreneur, and author Ashanti will be the recipient of the ‘Lady of Soul’ honor.

The Chicago Theatre will celebrate its 100th anniversary on October 26, 2021. In honor of this milestone anniversary, Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot issued a proclamation recognizing tomorrow as Chicago Theatre Day.
