Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles (GMCLA) proudly presents A HOLIDAY HOMECOMING, marking its return to live, in-person concerts after a two-year pandemic hiatus. This Los Angeles holiday tradition kicks off GMCLA’s Season 43 at UCLA’s Royce Hall for two concerts only: Saturday, December 11 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m.

Royal Family Productions will present a workshop production of MAMA ROSE. This piece is written and stars Richard E. Waits (A Turtle on a Fence Post, RFP: Worth St.), with direction by Royal Family Creative Director Lorna Ventura and Royal Family Artistic Director Chris Henry. 

There is a famous story about after the first performance of Rent. Someone shouted in the audience, 'Thank You Jonathan Larson.' That's my sentiment exactly. Thank you Jonathan Larson for creating such a deeply flawed, but beautiful musical that encourages my curiosity to learn more. Thank you Jonathan Larson for making me remember why I love theatre.

Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway premiere of Trouble in Mind opened on Broadway. Trouble in Mind is led by LaChanze as 'Wiletta Mayer,' with Michael Zegen as 'Al Manners,' Chuck Cooper as 'Sheldon Forrester,' Danielle Campbell as 'Judy Sears,' Jessica Frances Dukes as 'Millie Davis,' Brandon Micheal Hall as 'John Nevins,' Simon Jones as 'Henry,' Alex Mickiewicz as 'Eddie Fenton,' and Don Stephenson as 'Bill O'Wray.'

In attendance were Lin-Manuel Miranda (Director/Producer), Andrew Garfield (Cast), Alexandra Shipp (Cast), Vanessa Hudgens (Cast), Robin de Jesús (Cast), Judith Light (cast), Joshua Henry (Cast), Ben Levi Ross (Cast), Steven Levenson (Writer/EP), Brian Grazer (Producer), and Julie Oh (Producer).

Just in time for Halloween, the hit public radio and podcast series Selected Shorts returns to Kean Stage on Saturday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Enlow Recital Hall, 215 North Ave, Hillside, NJ 07205 for  Selected Shorts: Tales After Dark.

NYC's Royal Family Productions is bringing back Chris Henry's popular adaptation of the novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery for one day only. Anne of Green Gables: Part I was a sold-out hit when performed at South Road Farm last September, and this remount pairs it for the first time with Anne of Green Gables: Part II.

Reiche works for the legendary Binder Casting - which cast the original 1999 Broadway production of 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.'
