Initial casting has been announced for the return of 2:22 - A Ghost Story to London’s West End. The cast will be led by Stacey Dooley and James Buckley.

2:22 - A Ghost Story will return to London's West End. Running for a strictly limited 10-week season at the Gielgud Theatre, where the second cast of the show performed in 2020/21.

Bristol Old Vic has announced the full cast for their world premiere production of Gareth Farr’s new play A Child of Science, telling the pioneering story of Robert Edwards, Patrick Steptoe and Jean Purdy’s creation of IVF, and the army of women whose bravery helped them achieve the impossible.

Orange Tree Theatre has announced Finn Cole, known for his roles in Peaky Blinders and Animal Kingdom, will make his professional stage debut playing Ray in the European première of Lucas Hnath's Red Speedo directed by Matthew Dunster.

Julie Hesmondhalgh will join the cast of the world premiere of James Graham's new play Punch, directed by Adam Penford and opening at Nottingham Playhouse on 4 May.

Nachtland is a nervous, difficult play whose purpose is decisively blurry. It doesn’t revel as much as it should in the unknotting of its cerebral conundrum and doesn’t bask in the incredible satire it holds. The ideas it presents are topical, yet the piece is distracted. It tries to be quirky and different, but the result is tired and unfocused. It will make audiences think and talk about what they just saw, but not necessarily in a good way.

If you go to 2:22 A Ghost Story expecting traditional spine-chilling phantoms, you will be disappointed. Renouned in the West End for starry casts and numerous awards, 2:22 A Ghost Story isn't really a ghost story at all. Far from the horror genre one might expect, the piece is more of an amusing but long-winded exploration of how we define ghosts and how we view ghost believers... with the occasional jumpscare.
