The Book of Mormon today announced a ticket lottery, in which a limited number of $30 tickets will be sold by ballot before each performance at Festival Theatre, Adelaide Festival Centre.

An additional preview was announced today for the upcoming Adelaide season of The Book of Mormon, on Tuesday 25 June at 7:30pm at the Festival Theatre. This will be the first chance for fans to see the much-anticipated Broadway smash hit in Adelaide. All tickets for this special preview will cost only $20.00 and go on sale at 9am on Thursday 20 June at the Festival Centre.

According to the New York Times, stage and screen star Ed Harris will take over in the role of Atticus Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird on Broadway beginning November 5, 2019. Jeff Daniels, who earned a Tony nomination for his portrayal of the classic character, will play his final performance on November 3.

Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus, the new comedy by Pulitzer Prize finalist and MacArthur Fellow, Taylor Mac will play its final performance on Sunday, June 16. Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus began previews on Monday, March 11, 2019 and opened on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street). At the time of its closing, it will have played 45 preview performances and 65 regular performances.

Producer Scott Rudin announced today that the Broadway production of William Shakespeare's King Lear, will play its final performance on Sunday, June 9, 2019. King Lear began previews on Thursday, February 28, 2019 and opened on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). At the time of its closing, it will have played 34 preview performances and 76 regular performances.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is announcing a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins May 28 at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia and plays a limited two- week engagement through June 9. In Philadelphia, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the Academy of Music Box Office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece.
