It was announced today that the world premiere production of Pulitzer Prize finalist and MacArthur Fellow Taylor Mac's new comedy Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus, has now set its Opening Night for Sunday, April 21, 6:00 p.m., at Broadway's Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street). Preview performances began on Monday, March 11.

The Book of Mormon today announced that due to unprecedented demand the hit production will return to Brisbane next year. Currently playing to sold out houses at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC, the hit musical, written by Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez, will return from 3 January 2020 for a strictly limited season. Tickets will go on sale on Monday 25 March.

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON-which played a record-breaking, sold-out two-week engagement in 2015-returns to San Jose's Center for the Performing Arts (255 S. The producers of the national tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, announced that the production will play Waterbury's Palace Theater April 9 - 14 for eight performances. The Book of Mormon today announced a ticket lottery, in which a limited number of $30 tickets will be sold by ballot before each performance at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC.

Hello! THE BOOK OF MORMON is playing at North Carolina's Peace Center through March 10, 2019.

HELLO! The Book of Mormon is in Louisville for the third time since the production started touring. The 2011 Broadway Tony Award-winning smash stands up well, and Thursday night's audience was ready to roar with delight at all the outrageous humor that skewers many religions, Western stereotypes of Africa - and the reverse - and many cultural touchstones.

BroadwayWorld previously reported cancellations of a number of productions of the Christopher Sergel stage adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird. According to the New York Times, president of Dramatic Publishing Company Christopher Sergel III says he will be suing for damages. 

An additional preview was announced today for the upcoming Brisbane season of The Book of Mormon, on Friday 15 March at 7:30pm at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC. This will be the first chance for fans to see the much-anticipated Broadway smash hit in Brisbane. All tickets for this special preview will cost only $20.00 and go on sale at 9am on Monday 11 March at QPAC.

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, returns to Salt Lake City for a limited engagement August 13-25, 2019 at the Eccles Theater.  Single tickets will go on sale March 8 at 10am. On this day in 2015, Fish In the Dark, a new comedy by Seinfeld creator Larry David, celebrated its opening night on Broadway. 

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins March 19 at DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids and plays a limited engagement through March 24. In Grand Rapids, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece.

This season's new Broadway production of William Shakespeare's King Lear, starring two-time Academy Award winner, two-time Emmy Award winner, and 2018 Tony Award winner Glenda Jackson and directed by Tony Award winner Sam Gold, will begin previews Thursday, February 28, 2019 and will open Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Cort Theatre. The production will play a strictly limited engagement through Sunday, July 7, 2019.

Jeff Daniels was a guest on last night's episode of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.' During the interview, Daniels talks about playing Atticus Finch in Aaron Sorkin's Broadway adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird and even shows Jimmy some of his vocal warmups!

Hillary and Bill Clinton made a stir tonight at the Broadway adaptation of Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird. The former president and secretary of state received a warm welcome from the sold-out crowd as they made their way to their seats. See video below!
