The producers of Disney’s NEWSIES have announced a new booking period at London’s Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre due to overwhelming demand. NEWSIES will now run through to Sunday 30 July 2023. Tickets for the new booking period are on sale now.

All new video footage has been released for Disney’s Newsies, which began previews at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre on 29 November and officially opened on 8 December.

The London cast of Newsies appeared on the Royal Variety Show to perform 'Seize the Day.' The cast of Newsies includes Michael Ahomka-Lindsay, Moya Angela, Lindsay Atherton, Samuel Bailey, Imogen Bailey, Bronté Barbé, Josh Barnett, Cameron Blakely, Jack Bromage, Bobbie Chambers, Alex Christian, and more. Moya Angela (America's Got Talent star and current Effie in the West End Dreamgirls) sang the Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston classic 'I Will Always Love You' at West End Live Lounge last month.

Originally premiered June 2017, the Colorado Springs Conservatory (CSC) team is bringing this original production back with timely and amazing revisions and additions to the story and music. Josh Franklin, CSC alumni and Broadway veteran has teamed up with Linda Weise, original composer and librettist and CSC Founding CEO, to bring "Jack" to a whole new level. This moral musical tale presents Jack, a ten year old bully at school who is taken on a journey through a dream that includes some of literature's most famous "Jacks," as he comes to realize that life choices can determine your successes or otherwise.

Dreamgirls, which opened in December 2016 at the Savoy Theatre to widespread critical acclaim, will give its final performance on Saturday 12th January 2019, completing a run of more than two years. Details for a forthcoming UK tour will be announced in due course.
