Like a bat out of hell, Bat Out of Hell is flying to New York City Center, where the Jim Steinman musical officially it begins its run tomorrow, August 1, 2019. The musical is set to open on August 8, and will play a six-week engagement through September 8, 2019.

Bat Out of Hell's German production had a lot to live up to, after the upcoming New York production plastered its billboards all over Times Square earlier this week. To generate the same level of hype, the cast took to the local shopping mall at Centro Oberhausen to create a flash mob!

In the Heights is an original musical that is set over the course of three days, involving characters in the largely Hispanic-American neighborhood of Washington Heights in New York City. Originally conceived by Lin-Manuel Miranda during his sophomore year at Wesleyan University, the musical had its world premiere through their student theater company in April of 2000.

Cleveland Play House (CPH) is proud to announce the cast of the high-spirited, interactive musical comedy The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Broadway and TV actress Ali Stroker (Glee, Deaf West's Production of Spring Awakening) joins Broadway veterans Kirsten Wyatt (Annie, Elf, Shrek), John Scherer (Sunset Boulevard, By Jeeves, Funny Girl), Lee Slobotkin, Chad Burris (both of Book of Mormon), Kay Trinidad Karns (Little Mermaid), and more in this laugh-out-loud musical directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge on the Allen Stage through May 6th. This production is sponsored by Huntington National Bank and Zinner & Co.

MULTISTAGES, in association with Dr. Judy Kuriansky and Jane Velez-Mitchell, is pleased to present a first look at  the award-winning musical, TEMPLE OF THE SOULS, co-written by poet Anita Velez-Mitchell, platinum-winning composers Dean Landon and Anika Paris,  and MultiStages Artistic Director Lorca Peress. Peress also helmed the production, with musical direction by Bruce Baumer, choreography by Enrique Brown, and visual design by Obie-winner Jan Hartley. Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening, Wicked), and D. C. Anderson (Phantom of the Opera) will take on the roles of Mary Ann Monk and George Lusk for the July 17th concert at the Highline Ballroom in NYC.
