Lost Frequencies Link Up With Aloe Blacc For New Single

Belgian hit machine Lost Frequencies has been chalking up a range of impressive collaborationsin the past few years,and his new single on Found Frequencies sees him pick up where he left off. For 'Truth Never Lies', his second single of 2019, the electronic music superstar joined forces with none other than Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc, who's best known for his work on international smash hits such as 'Wake Me Up' and 'SOS' (both Avicii), 'Carry You Home' (Tiësto) and of course his own single 'I Need A Dollar'.

New Album AVICII: TIM Out Today

AVICII: TIM, an album of new music from acclaimed producer/musician/songwriter and performer Tim Bergling, is out today. AVICII created groundbreaking performances that became the gold standard for timeless electronic music and defined the sound and structure of the global EDM movement.  When announcing his retirement from touring, he wrote: “I will however never let go of music. I will continue to speak to my fans through it.” And most assuredly, that is what he is doing on TIM.

Academy Award, Golden Globe and Grammy winning composer Gabriel Yared is going to be Tom Needham's exclusive guest this Thursday at 6 pm on WUSB's THE SOUNDS OF FILM. Gabriel is most well-known for his scores for 'The English Patient,' 'Cold Mountain,' 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' and 'The Lives of Others.' Later this year, Gabriel Yared is going to be receiving the distinguished Max Steiner Award in the City of Music, Vienna.

AVICII: TIM Track List Revealed For Album Due 6/6

The much speculated upon final track listing for AVICII: TIM, due June 6, is below. TIM is the first album of new music from Bergling since his unexpected death last year.  Work on a few of the tracks had been completed but several more needed final touches.   Bergling had left very clear notes about how he wanted to finish the music and who his production partners should be. You'll find them in the credits below.

The release is imprinted with his research into the Ethiopian Golden Era, Ethiopiques, traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean music, and offers a beatific interpretation that takes the listener on a journey through the soundscapes of the Abyssinian Empire.
