When you think of country music icon Dolly Parton, passion, storytelling and female empowerment spring to mind. Her musical 9 to 5 ticks all those boxes. Following the plot of the 1980 film of the same name, Dolly Parton again teamed up with the film's writers Patricia Resnick and Colin Higgins to bring the musical to Broadway in 2009.

The 8th Annual Key West Film Festival announces its official 2019 lineup including major fall films from Noah Baumbach and Destin Daniel Cretton. More than 115 films and V/R pieces will be shown during the 5-day festival, which runs November 20-24. Nearly half of the feature films at the festival will be Florida festival premieres.

The American Veterans Center's annual broadcast special in honor of Veterans Day, American Valor: A Salute to Our Heroes, will once again return to television this year. Emmy Award nominated actor/comedian and veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Rob Riggle, will reprise his role as host for the evening, paying tribute to our service men and women spanning from World War II to the present day. Noted celebrities will lend their voices to tell the stories of service and valor, including Tery Crews, John Cena, Lauren Fishburne, Gary Sinise, Mike Rowe, Allison Janney and Clint Eastwood.  Joining American Valor as a presenter of these stories of service and sacrifice is Kyle Chandler, Ben Foster, Kellie Pickler, and Charlie Weber along with White House Correspondents Kyra Phillips (ABC News) and John Roberts (Fox News).

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 'The West Wing' will change streaming services. The political drama will move from Netflix to HBO Max.

Variety reports that a sequel to the upcoming 'Addams Family' animated film has been announced. It will be released on October 22, 2021.

National Geographic announced today that Emmy- and Academy Award-winning actress Allison Janney will narrate its upcoming documentary special EXPEDITION AMELIA, which premieres Sunday, Oct. 20, at 8/7c. The special follows National Geographic Explorer-at-Large Dr. Robert Ballard, best known for his 1985 discovery of the Titanic shipwreck, on an ambitious expedition to solve the mystery of the disappearance of Amelia Earhart. Throughout the special, Janney guides viewers through the story of the team's extensive search for evidence as well as Earhart's legendary life and legacy.

James Corden asks Allison Janney about a photo he saw of her wearing a beard and mustache and learns it was part of a prank on director Sir Nicholas Hytner while they was making 'Object of My Affection.'
