The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) are pleased to announce that the 24th annual Critics' Choice Awards will air LIVE on The CW Network on Sunday, January 13, 2019 (7:00-10:00p.m. Live ET/ Delayed PT). The show will continue its combined Film and Television awards format, honoring the finest in both cinematic and televised/streaming achievement, and take place once again at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

Breakout star Elsie Fisher joins the voice case of The Addams Family, in her first role since her critically acclaimed performance in Eighth Grade, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Fisher will voice Parker Needler, the daughter of Margaux Needler, the Addams Family nemesis.

Before I, Tonya and even before “the incident,” there was Sharp Edges - the documentary made thirty-two years ago by Yale University student Sandra Luckow as part of her senior thesis. Following its successful theatrical run and awards campaign with I, Tonya, NEON has acquired worldwide rights to the documentary and will distribute it in theaters for one week beginning on July 6th.

According to Deadline, Allison Janney is in talks to join Hugh Jackman in Automatik's Bad Education, a feature based on a true story from I Think We're Alone Now screenwriter Mike Makowsky and director Cory Finley (Thoroughbreds). The story, which is based on Makowsky's own high school experience, follows Frank Tassone, a superintendent of the school district who works for the betterment of the student's education while embezzling public funds to live the life he wants.
