Rise and shine, BroadwayWorld! It is January 6, 2026 and it's time to catch up on all of the theatrical happenings you may have missed in the last 24 hours.

2025 was a stellar year from theatre, but now the New Year has rolled in, we can put away the festive decorations, throw out the last bit of leftover turkey and look forward to an even better twelve months of theatrical goodies.

Broadway says goodbye to two limited run productions. Waiting for Godot takes its final bow at the Hudson Theatre following 15 previews and 113 regular performances; and Beetlejuice plays its final performance at the Palace Theatre after 102 regular performances. The theatres will soon be home to Every Brilliant Thing and The Lost Boys respectively.

All Out: Comedy About Ambition begins previews tonight, December 12, on Broadway. In celebration of the show kicking off its run, the band Lawrence will have a pop-up concert outside the Nederlander Theatre at 4pm.
