Opening tonight is the first London Fringe production since Lockdown, a brand new socially distanced open-air production of ‘Fanny And Stella’, a musical with Book and Lyrics by Glenn Chandler, the creator of ‘Taggart’, and Music by Charles Miller.

Fanny & Stella is the debut production at The Garden Theatre, situated in The Eagle pub's beer garden in Vauxhall. This is a brand new socially distanced open-air production, running until the end of summer.

The producers of Bat Out Of Hell a?" The Musical have announced that a special sing-a-long performance will take place during the show's run in Glasgow later this year.

The producers of the UK Tour of Bat Out Of Hell a?" The Musical, featuring Jim Steinman and Meatloaf's greatest hits, have announced the return of Sharon Sexton as Sloane and Rob Fowler as Falco (both starred recently in the Mamma Mia! International Tour and the original West End cast of Bat Out Of Hell), and introduce the new stars of the musical: Glenn Adamson (American Idiot) as Strat and Martha Kirby (Grease, Rags the Musical) as Raven.

Mark Robert Petty, primarily one half of the transatlantic writing team of Anderson & Petty, brought an evening of his musical collaborations to the Union Theatre on Sunday, 10 November. 'Bobby (Under The Eyes Of Don Ameche)' was written by Dana P. Rowe (Music) and Mark Robert Petty (Lyrics) and is from a new musical by Rowe & Petty entitled 'Always - A Brooklyn Love Story' which is currently in development with a book by Nathan Cann.

Mark Petty of the transatlantic writing team of Anderson & Petty will be presenting an evening of his collaborations as part of Kieran Brown's 'Sunday Night Socials' at The Union Theatre this Sunday 10th November at 8pm.

Footage has been released of Georgie Ashford, James Hume and Alex Lodge from the the acclaimed Bridge House Theatre production of the musical 'tick, ticka?? Boom!' by Jonathan Larson, directed by Guy Retallack.

The only other musical written by Rent composer Jonathan Larson, tick, tick...Boom!, opens at the Bridge House Theatre this evening. The show is semi-autobiographical, based on Larson's own career. Set in 1990s New York, it follows the complex life of Jon, a 'promising' young composer, approaching 30 and with no idea where his life and career are heading. This thought-provoking yet funny show is packed with great songs, and is just as relevant today.

'tick... tick... BOOM!' runs at Bridge House Theatre SE20, from the 1 - 27 October.

TITANIC is part of the Mirvish 2014-15 Subscription Season, playing through June 21, 2015 at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre. In this new reimagining of the musical, director Thom Southerland uses an ensemble cast, meaning that everyone in the cast plays two or three or more roles in the telling of the story. 

Jonathan D Ellis (Les Miserables, Blood Brothers) will star in the Landor Theatre's revival of Adler and Ross' Damn Yankees as the Mephistophelean Applegate, the role popularised by Jerry Lewis in the 1990s Broadway and West End productions.
