Titled 'Maybe Love',  the song is written and performed by the show’s composers Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, who collectively have earned three Grammy Awards and 18 Grammy nominations. Pioneer Theatre Company has announced the full cast of Shucked, a new Broadway bound musical, which will have its world premiere at PTC from October 28 through November 12, 2022.

The company of the new musical comedy, The Last Supper, is getting ready for performances at South Orange Performing Arts Center, where the show will run July 27 through August 7. Ato Blankson-Wood (Tony nominee Slave Play), Asmeret Ghebremichael (Book of Mormon, Legally Blonde), Nora Schell (Jagged Little Pill) and Kara Young (Tony nominee Clyde’s) will take part in Broadway Advocacy Coalition's Arts in Action Festival, set to take place at 7pm on Sunday, July 24 at the Manhattan School of Music.

The Last Supper (July 27-August 7 at SOPAC) is the new musical comedy about five liberal grad students sharing a house in a conservative college town who, in their efforts to save the world, host a collection of their neighbors for a friendly evening of dinner and discourse. The world premiere engagement of the new musical comedy, The Last Supper, taking place this summer at South Orange Performing Arts Center will star Tony Award nominee Charlotte d’Amboise, Mark Evans, and Alex Newell. With book, music, and lyrics by Jeremy Desmon and Jeff Thomson, The Last Supper is based on the film of the same name.

Don't Call Me John!, a new musical comedy with an original book by Chris Recker, music by Ben Moss, and lyrics by Tony Oblen, will present industry preview readings on Thursday, June 23 and Friday, June 24 at Open Jar Studios in New York City.  

Paradise Square officially resumed performances last night, April 19, after briefly going dark due to COVID cases within the cast. Joaquina Kalukango gave a speech after last night's performance, where she talked about being grateful to be back on stage.

The new Broadway musical Paradise Square will now resume performances on Tuesday, April 19 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street), rather than Saturday, April 16 as previously announced. The change is due to additional COVID cases within the company.

After previously announcing that performances would resume on Tuesday, April 12, the original new Broadway musical Paradise Square will definitely resume performances on Saturday, April 16, with performances at 2:00 and 8:00 pm at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). The production, which opened April 3, halted performances on Thursday, April 7 after positive COVID cases were experienced in the company.

BroadwayWorld has learned that Paradise Square principal cast member Chilina Kennedy will miss upcoming preview performances of the production due to testing positive for COVID. She is currently set to return on Saturday, April 2.
