The Washington Stage Guild will continue its 2022-2023 season, a “Season of Transitions,” with Endgame by Samuel Beckett, directed by Alan Wade. Performances begin January 26 - 28 with four Pay-What-You-Can previews and run until February 19, 2023.

The seventh voyage of the critically acclaimed Outlaw Country Cruise will feature another jam-packed lineup of alternative country rock royalty, including The Mavericks, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Old 97’s, Kathleen Edwards, Carlene Carter, Elizabeth Cook, The Waco Brothers, and more.

Sam and Dede is an honest show about a fictionalized truth. It explores the friendship between two famed artists, and their charming shared history.

The Washington Stage Guild at last brings to the stage the Washington premiere of Sam and Dede, or My Dinner with André the Giant by Gino DiIorio. Originally scheduled for our 2019-20 season, the production was halted and postponed indefinitely by the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. We are delighted to be able to produce this fascinating play at last. 

It's crass and callous, heart-breaking and hilarious as it examines the nomansland where choice and identity collide.

A strong cast and steady pace make this rare performance of Shaw's first hit work a worthwhile free tune-in.

Olney Theatre Center continues its record-breaking 81st season with Ken Ludwig's A Comedy of Tenors on the Mainstage, running April 10 to May 12, 2019. Jason King Jones, Olney Theatre's Senior Associate Artistic Director and Artistic Director of National Players helms the production. Jones most recently directed Annie.
