The principal cast has been announced for the brand-new production of Shrek the Musical, starring Anthony Lawrence (Shrek), Joanne Clifton (Princess Fiona), James Gillan (Lord Faquaad) and Brandon Lee Sears (Donkey). Opening at Theatre Royal Plymouth on 21 July 2023, the  musical will tour through to April 2024 to a total of 31 venues.  

Center Repertory Company will present Lynn Nottage’s Pulitzer Prize-winning SWEAT, directed by acclaimed actor/director Elizabeth Carter.

Originally performed solo by Smith, “Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992” has been reimagined for a cast of five performers. Thirty years after its world premiere, Center Theatre Group will celebrate the West Coast premiere of the revised production by giving away 1,000 tickets to Angelenos.

The national tour of Into the Woods will begin at Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, N.Y. before officially opening soon at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Check out photos and videos of the cast in action!

Overjoyed to fill in the roles of Baroness Elsa von Schraeder and Rolf, TV-theater actors Karylle Tatlonghari and Markki Stroem have been announced to join the latest international tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s 'The Sound of Music,' produced by the Broadway International Group and Broadway Asia, and directed by three-time Tony awardee Jack O’Brien.

Endearing and earnest, MTW’s new production of 9 TO 5 - THE MUSICAL---which continues performances at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach through February 26---is a pleasing musical comedy (adapted from the hit film) filled with hilarious dialogue, outrageous silliness, and, of course, really catchy tunes via Dolly Parton.

4 Times Entertainment announces a new musical adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's iconic coming-of-age novel Little Women. Be part of musical theatre history when two concert presentations are performed as an intimate introduction to the re-imagining of the beloved story.

Jose Llana and Conrad Ricamora  will join the Broadway company of Here Lies Love. The duo will be recreating the critically acclaimed roles they originated off-Broadway.

As Pulitzer Prize finalist and Los Angeles based writer/actor Kristina Wong continues the 2023 Kirk Douglas season with her hilarious and heartfelt one-person play, “Kristina Wong, Sweatshop Overlord,” Los Angeles audiences will have a variety of ways to engage with Wong and the community.

Charlotte has a special visit from Abbey Road. Not The Beatles, mind you, but Charlotte's favorite Beatles tribute band. The nationally touring show performs on Sunday, March 26 at the Neighborhood Theatre in a fully seated show. The Charlotte show is part of a 125-city tour of the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
