Growing up the son of a minister is never easy, especially when you turn out to be gay. Adam Bailey tackles this aspect of his youth in the follow up to his 2014 Best of Fringe win in Toronto. Throughout the evening Adam shares several true and frank stories about the deeply internal conflicts that exist between sexuality and religious faith. The show promises not to pull punches or be sentimental, instead Adam uses a postmodern whimsy to take us from bible studies in banquet halls to bathhouse dates to his dalliances with pharmaceuticals in a performance that "flies by like a church service on speed" (CBC News Manitoba).
