Slim Gambill, Sideman and Lead Guitarist for Lady Antebellum Premieres '54321'

Today, Guitarist Slim Gambill releases “54321” with an exclusive Billboard.com debut. The track is the second to be released from Fake Jazz & Theme Songs, the debut album from Gambill, who is also sideman and lead guitarist for the multi platinum recording artist, Lady Antebellum. Fake Jazz & Theme Songs is now available for pre-order and will be released on September 6th via Ludlow St. Records on all digital platforms.

Casting Announced For Village Theatre's FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS

With The 19th Annual Festival of New Musicals taking place this upcoming weekend, Village Theatre is excited to announce the casting for XY, an uplifting musical about identity and coming to terms with your past; Cold Turkey, a wild and funny satire; Modern, an inspiring tale about a group of Amish teenagers; Eastbound, an poignant story about Chinese brothers in search of a home they've never known; and Cowboy Bob, an adventurous rock musical about a bank-robbing woman. The Festival will take place in Issaquah August 9-11, 2019 and provides an essential platform for writers to develop new works. Past Festival shows include Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning shows such as Next to Normal and Million Dollar Quartet, as well as Broadway and Off-Broadway hits: It Shoulda Been You, Desperate Measures, Lizzie, and many more.

ANNIE GET YOUR GUN Extends at Bay Street Theater

Bay Street Theater has announced that Irving Berlin's ANNIE GET YOUR GUN opened to an enthusiastic audience on August 3. Due to popular demand, the show will be extended and will now run through September 1. The show is one of the most beloved musicals of Broadway's Golden Age with music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, book by Dorothy and Herbert Fields and directed by Sarna Lapine (Sunday in the Park with George, Bay Street Theater's Frost/Nixon). ANNIE GET YOUR GUN is sponsored in part by Baron's Cove and The Shed.

MATILDA THE MUSICAL Opens Next Friday At The Herberger Theater

Valley Youth Theatre (VYT) opens its 31st season with Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical, August 9, on Center Stage at The Herberger Theater Center, marking the first time this smash Broadway musical has been produced by an Arizona-based theatre company. Sutton Foster was a guest on last night's episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden. During the show, James introduces one of his writers who once appeared in 'Younger' with Foster years ago. James decides to play a game with her, seeing if she can remember acting alongside him. After showing a clip of the scene to the audience, James brings out 5 similarly dressed and looking men and sees if Foster can pick the right co-star!
