Minihorse are sharing the third single, 'King Of The Concrete', from their debut LP Living Room Art, out July 26th on Park The Van Records, with The Alternative who liken the band's debut to 'the brittle hooks of Elliott Smith, the dynamic progressions of Grandaddy, and the textural girth of My Bloody Valentine' and say that 'Collins' songs are incredibly well-produced and meticulously performed, with tons of space in the mix for distorted guitar leads and gravelly basslines to float alongside one another like stardust...[King Of The Concrete] is over and done in a blink, but there's enough going on in that brief moment to go back and dissect multiple times.'
Nashville's Jeremy Ivey is thrilled to announce his debut album today, The Dream and the Dreamer, to be released on September 13 via ANTI- Records. “The only objective here was to film some ridiculous scenarios and make them seem ordinary,” Ivey said of the music video for the new single “Diamonds Back To Coal””. “The modern newsreel that we see on our feeds daily is beyond insane, it's surreal. This video reflects that.”

East Nashville underground pioneers The Smoking Flowers (Kim and Scott Collins) have unveiled 'Just Out Of Reach,' a new single from the band's forthcoming LP Snowball Out Of Hell, due out June 21st. The acoustic Snowball Out of Hell follows 2018's rock-oriented Let's Die Together; both albums will be released together as a deluxe double album digitally and on vinyl. Both albums were conceived during Kim's battle with, and later triumph over, an aggressive form of breast cancer; the cancer is in remission today--Kim only used holistic and alternative methods and adopted a raw food diet (no chemotherapy, no radiation, no hormones). In the wake of this journey, The pair took life by the reins and hit the road in their vintage Volvo 240 station wagon, touring across America and Canada for three years. With this life-altering experience to draw upon and years of intense touring under their belt, the couple then tapped even deeper into their raw rock, punk and folk roots in the composition of Let's Die Together and Snowball Out of Hell. The urgency present in these recordings is undeniable, a true story of love and triumph.

Anna Connolly has shared the official video for 'Jewels' from her debut solo album After Thoughts with Buzzbands LA. The video which was directed by Drew Hagelin & Corynne Ostermann can also be shared at YouTube. Buzzbands LA says, 'Her delivery is stark, haunting and occasionally blunt, punctuated by that old '90s warhorse, the tension/release bridge, with phrasing that borders on the unconventional. Heartbreak is the common thread that weaves its way through After Thoughts. There is a powerful vulnerability in the songs, still sharp despite her well-worn heart. They speak of a woman who has learned some hard truths, is unwilling to make compromises and has emerged scarred but smarter.' After Thoughts can be ordered digitally and on limited edition vinyl now at Bandcamp.

Post-Punk says, ''The Eternal' is 'a song conjuring the early 90s occult shoe gaze moments permeating with the smell of Nag Champa and clove cigarettes set to the soft vocal timbre of singers like Hope Sandoval of Mazzy Star.'
