Rakaputra Paputungan is an Indonesia-based writer and theater journalist. He's been involved in community productions of West Side Story (JPAC, 2017), Dreamgirls (JPAC, 2018), Beyond Therapy (Jakarta Players, 2018), Journey Through Time 2 (Jaksical, 2018), Midnight in Broadway (Bandung Musical, 2018), Blackbird (JPAC, 2018), Longing for Love (Jakarta Players, 2019), and Company (JPAC, 2019).

Production roles he's assumed include media crew, head of house and ticketing, stage manager, actor, and co-producer.

On April 30th-May 3rd 2026, the theatre community Svatuhari hosted their annual event Svathefest 2026 with the theme “Jagat Fantasi”. This event was hosted for four days, with each of the four days having a different pre-show before their main one. In 2026, their main show was titled THE PANDAWAS: AMBISI TRI MANDALA. On the 6th, 8th, and 12-14 February 2026, Eclipse Studios hosted ECLIPSE D'AMOUR, their “immersive murder mystery experience disguised as a reality dating show”. This show took place at Krapela, an open modular space and bar in South Jakarta. On March 14, 2026, Indonesian Musical Company’s Winter Class staged MET LIEFDE – DR. VENESSA. Held in Gedung Kesenian Miss Tjitjih, this production served as a showcase of everything the students had learned: acting, dancing, and theater tech. Being a backstory for one of the characters in one of their previous shows, LEGACY, this show was written by Bryan Edward and directed by Cornelius Kenta Raya.
