On 28 March 2026, the team from Broadway World Indonesia attended Teater Parresia Cascara’s Esther, presented at Gereja St. Yakobus. Written and directed by Venantius Vladimir Ivan Pratama, the retelling of the story of Esther in this recent production was a piece of work steeped in atmospheric ambition and structural simplicity.
On March 14, the performing arts community WAKTUNYA MAIN put on a production of KAKEK DAN PERAHU KUNING (“The Old Man and the Yellow Boat”) at Galeri Indonesia Kaya. This production is a rerun, following the show’s debut at Festival Musikal Indonesia 2025.
On April 4, 2026, the student board of Prasetiya Mulya University put on an original musical called MUSIKAL PASAR DANGDUT: SEMESTA BERDENDANG, or SEMESTA BERDENDANG for short, at Teater Besar, Taman Ismail Marzuki

From 8-12 April 2026, Adnan Production brought the longest-running American musical in Broadway history, Chicago, onto the stage of Graha Bhakti Budaya. It ran a total of eight shows (including the Gala performance), showcasing the many different talents within the theatre industry of Indonesia.
On November 23, 2025, the team from BroadwayWorld Indonesia attended Pemberontak. The show was presented as one of the recitals by the Kelas Akting Titimangsa 2025, under Iswadi Pratama’s direction. As the closing show of their program, this staging of Les Justes by Albert Camus carried a strong sense of culmination— the performers, fully immersed in their roles, delivered a work that felt both refined and emotionally charged.
From 15–18 January 2026, Center Stage Community (Censtacom) presented its latest production, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, at Graha Bhakti Budaya, Jakarta.
The performances continued with Maera, Dipo, Bimozeno, followed by Gilang Arga, Taufan Purbo, and Iwak the Rock Fish, keeping the energy consistently dynamic. A standout moment came when Gabriel Havrianto performed a tribute song to Titiek Puspa. His vocals were powerful, and overall, the vocal quality across performers remained consistently impressive.
On November 15th, 2025, the team from Broadway World Indonesia attended Teater Mantuli’s Lentera Harapan, the company’s third production, staged for its second show at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta. The show was directed by Khenny Gracia and produced by Robert Gunadi.

On August 23 & 24 of 2025, a musical adaptation of the then-upcoming movie Pengin Hijrah (Want to Hijra) took to the stage. The movie itself was adapted from a novel of the same name.
On 29–31 August 2025, Titimangsa returned to the stage with their 88th production, Bunga Penutup Abad, performed at Ciputra Artpreneur. This play is an intermedial adaptation from Pramoedya Ananta Toer’s novels Bumi Manusia (This Earth of Mankind) and Anak Semua Bangsa (Child of All Nations), directed by Wawan Sofwan. The team from BroadwayWorld Indonesia attended the performance on 30 August.
For their 235th production, Teater Koma brought the play Mencari Semar onto the stage of Ciputra Artpreneur from August 13-17 of 2025. Written and directed by Rangga Riantiarno, this show had a vision of uniting Javanese mythology with a futuristic narrative, serving a story that is relevant to our present time.
